Who am I?
My name is Ellen Beldner. I'm a UE designer. I studied HCI at Carnegie Mellon a while back and have worked for Google and YouTube since 2003. I offer design consulting to software startups through Elbo Design.
What I do
- Product design
Storyboards, scenarios, user-centered feature prioritization - User interface design
Logic flows, wireframes, interaction design, interface design - User research plans
Observations, interviews, surveys, studies, UI experiment plans - Hiring plans
Write or edit design job postings, review portfolios, review resumes, conduct interviews - High-fidelity HTML prototyping
May be deployable, but no promises.
What I don't do
Branding, marketing, high-polish graphic design, print design, logos, icons, implementation, web development.
